Ozone Therapy
How many of you have heard of ozone therapy? Yes, ozone like the gas.
I recently started exploring ozone therapy via my holistic dentist. Transparently, I began ozone injections in the sites of my wisdom teeth extractions to ensure there was no underlying deep infection. To keep this brief, many people with wisdom teeth extracted or a root canal are at risk of developing micro-infections in the jaw called cavitations. The more I learned about this, and how cavitations can be a root cause behind disease and symptoms, I wanted to ensure that the sites of the wisdom teeth that I had removed eight years ago were healthy.
I was lucky not to experience any side effects other than mild fatigue, and the benefits were instant. I noticed less tension and pain in my mouth in the jaw, felt more vibrant (ozone is detoxifying!), and had a dramatic reduction in swelling in an area of my mouth that I hadn’t even noticed was swollen.
After documenting my journey with ozone therapy (in the form of injections) on Instagram, I had a record number of replies with a general curiosity about this healing modality. Due to the combined interest of my followers and me, I decided to research even more and find the best possible guest to speak about ozone. Enter Micah Lowe.
Micah Lowe’s interest in health started by helping his dad develop equipment for Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation for infections and chronic diseases. The business took off with recognition from Harvard Medical by Michael Hamblin. Micah’s interest in innovative therapies didn’t end with UBI; a few years later, he started to develop ozone therapy equipment because people needed a less expensive, stable unit that people could use at home. Ozone therapy had a synergistic effect on UBI, so it was a good fit for him because he understood it well.
Now, Micah owns Simply O3, an ozone equipment company, working to educate and get the word out on ozone.
